Time Saver

As some of you may know I'm working at 7-11 and it's my first time working as a cashier. I'm so glad that someone invented barcode and barcode scanner. It really saves time and it keeps us from making errors. I really don't know what I'd do if all products didn't have bar codes on them. Having barcode scanners saves so much time so I have time to do all the other stuff I have to do in the store. I didn’t know I would have to do so much. Besides working the register I have to keep the grill stocked, stock the cooler, mop the floors, make coffee and so much more. It’s a lot harder then the job I use to have as a graphic arts and I'm getting paid a lot less money. But I’m thankful to have a job.

Bad Start Of The Week

Monday starts off with a trip to the doctors for my mother for her monthly check up. Her doctor told me she's very depressed. She's been that way since 2005, I don't know what he wants me to do about it. I try to get her out of the house as much as I can. But since 2005 after having lung cancer and then a stroke she just don't want to do much.

After taking mom to the doctor I went over to my daughter house to cut the grass. I've been taking care of her house since she moved to Indiana. The rest of the day I spent doing my wash and cleaning the house. Tuesday I was going to cut my grass but I have a bee problem.


So I decided to do the hedge, after I did the hedge I went to Meijer to get some hornet spray. After it got dark I went out to spray the on nest I could reach.


The other one will have to way till I can get a taller ladder.


The spray worked so today I was able to cut the grass without getting stung. With the front done I went to do the back yard little did I know the yellow jacks had made a nest in the ground so when I was cutting the back yard I went over the nest and got stung on the back of my leg. I just can't win.

I really need a vacation and I think smokey wants to go with me. I going to check out Vegas vacations. But I don't think I'm going to get out of the house with out smokey.

The Reason I Blog

I know why I enjoy blogging it’s because I have public speaking anxiety. I know I’m more comfortable blogging then speaking to large crowds. I remember in high school we all had to take speech class. The first time I had to give a speech in front of the class I thought I would faint. I don’t know why I have a hard time speaking in front of large groups but I know it’s so much easier to blog to thousands of bloggers. I guess it’s because I don’t have to see your faces. I’m so glad for blogging. Thanks for listening.

Bathroom Remodeling?

My bathroom is in need of a make over. I took a few photos to show you how small it is and how I’ve covered the ugly tile on the floor. I’ve had this same bathroom for over 30 years. I have changed the wallpaper a few times but now I would like to change everything the tub and sink are blue and I’ll like white. I’ll like to make it look more modern. I think I need to start with the floor as you can see the rug needs to be replaced because the backing is coming off. I could replace the rug it would be cheaper but this glass tile I found would look so nice. I would like to do the bathroom in black and white.

I Want A Laptop

Last week I spent a few days with my niece’s daughter. My niece and her parents (my sister and brother in law) were taking my brother in laws mother to visit her sister in Indiana. I had to use they laptop to do my EC drops, I’ve always wanted a laptop but never used one. I want one so I could take it wherever I went. Now that I’ve used their laptop I really want one now all I have to do is find a some great laptop deals.

I just love these cartoons, the creator really knows cats. I love watching my two cats Smokey and Tiger when they find a bug. I have even thought about letting flies in to give them something to play with. But after watching this cartoon I'm think twice about it now. Enjoy!!!
