Colon Cleaning Yes or No

What is all the hype about Colon Cleaning? I’ve heard you can lose 20 pounds it you do this. Have any one tried this? With so many products on the market, it seems like an impossible to know what ones works. If I tried this I want to know that it’s safe. So if any of my fellow blogger’s has tried colon cleanse please let me know how it works and what you have used. Thanks

Don't try it without talking to your doctor first.

First, thanks for placing my advert, it's appreciated. Hope you'll swing by for a visit, the welcome mats always out.

I would also echo, don't do it. As person who has to have regular colonoscopy's and do the horrible prep. Yes, you do loose weight. It takes me a week to gain back what I lost. I feel lousy, energy level is low, and if you can't do anything but spend days in bathroom...why would anyone choose to do this, voluntarily? Stupid if you ask me. Oh you did. lol

Don't do it.

I've tried an all natural one from Wal-Mart ($20) and never finished the entire week's worth.

I didn't lose a pound but I thougt was helpful.

Now I just read that doctor's are not recommending this anymore because it also clears out good bacteria that we need in our colon.

Eew, no thanks. I think colon cleansers sound very hokey. Plus you have healthy bacteria "up there" and I'm not too sure that using those products wouldn't harm them. But that's all just my nonmedical opinion. I'd ask a Dr.

My sister tried it. She said she felt lighter and less gassy afterward. Definitely talk to your doc first.
