I once had a cat that weighed in a 28 pounds, but he didn't look that big.

I guess owners should be responsible over their pets. If owners are unwilling to submit their pets to obesity and have their beloved pets die of heart complications, etc, then they should monitor the food intake or give their pets food that are meant for leaner healthier body rather than fattening them up. If I'm not mistaken, royal canin supplies this type of range.

Feeding cats pork is SO not the answer to a healthy pet. *Sigh* Some owners are so irresponsible..

Obesity is caused by refined, processed, cooked cat food containing grains. The grains cause obesity as well as diabetes.
Cats that eat their natural diet of raw meats do not get fat. Animals in the wild do not get fat. Only animals and people who eat dead refined food and chemicals get fat.
