I'm Without Health Insurance
I’ve been laid off for 3 months now and for the first time since I move out of my parent’s home and started my life as an adult I’m with out health insurance. I received the information about getting Cobra but after the president passed the stimulus package, anyone on cobra was going to get a discount on the preimar. I did call cobra and the lady I talked to tell me new revised package would be coming with the new prices. To this day I still have not received this package. We've been without insurance for years, and honestly I like it. I know we've paid way less than we would have had we had it and had to deal with premiums and co-pays. Plus, we are totally in charge of our own health care. Best wishes to you in your dealings. I know that is not any fun.
