My Sweet Boys

My sweet boys, this morning I woke up with the help of my two cats Smokey and Tiger. I don’t know how long they had been trying to wake me up but around 8:30 they finally woke me up. I had been up around 7 to use the bathroom and while I was up I gave them their treat so I know that wasn’t the reason they woke me up. They’re use to getting a treat when I get up for work and when I come home from work. So on the weekend they still want their treats. Guess cats only have one type of day. Well after my boys woke me up all they want to do was lay around and love one me. How sweet is that, I don’t know what I’ll do without those boys of mine.

So Stuffed

It’s day after Thanksgiving, we hope everyone had a great time with his or her families and friends. If you’re like us, your feeling full and wondering why your pants fit so tight. So now it time for us (mommy, Smokey and Tiger) find out how to lose weight. Christmas is come next and we all know what happens at Christmas. Lots of presents and food so if we lose some weight now it won’t be so bad after Christmas.

The Right Cell Phone For Me

It seams like everyone has a cell phone these days! I have one but after the New Year I need to get a new one because my old phone won’t work with the new satellite system. I’m looking for one with a cheap plan, seeing I don’t use it much I don’t want to pay a lot for something I only use in case of an emergency. I’ve been looking at the unlocked cell phones. This seams like the best cell phone for what I need.

Sunny Sunday

Another great Sunday, the sun was out and Smokey decided to do a little sunbathing. They say tomorrow will bring snow and sleet so my boys are taking advantage of the sunny day. I’m not looking forward to the snow. If I had my way we would live somewhere the snow didn’t fly. I hate the snow and cold.

Honda Civic Hybrid

During the late 70’s I worked with a girl that owned a Honda Civic, I can’t remember what year it was, all I do remember is that it had over 100,000 miles on it and it still ran as good a when she bought it. It was great on gas too, I’m not sure how many miles to the gallon she got but it seamed like we never had to stop for gas. It was a great little car, I drove a VW Bug at the time and I considered selling it and getting a Honda Civic because for one thing the floor didn’t rust out like the VW’s did.

Now over 30 years later the Honda Civic is still a great car. History hasn’t quite repeated itself. The Honda Civic is considerably heavier and more luxurious than its earlier pint –sized model. It uses to be the smallest car from Honda not anymore. Some of the reasons to choose a Civic are the wide array of configurations. The Civic is sold as a sedan and a sportier looking coupe. Merry Christmas

We’re so lucky our mommy works with Carlota. She made us a new Christmas layout, isn’t it cute. We really like it and want to thank Carlota for taking the time to make it for us. Mommy said she better learn to make layouts because soon Carlota and her won’t be working together. That’s going to make our mommy very sad.

Leo and Fairy's Purrthday

Hey all our furiends please help us wish Leo and Fairy a very happy first purrthday. We found out it was their purrthday while doing our drops. I can't believe how cute those two were as babies. So fluffy how could anyone resist those little fur balls. Go check out how cute Leo and Fairy are.

The Photo Hunters theme this week is: ruined. This is what I found the other day when I came home from work. I'm not sure which one of my boys did this and they’re not talking. They're lucky I love them so much. I just can't get mad at my boys it my fault for putting that plant in my boy way.

The holidays are coming and reports say that most people will gain between 10 to 15 pounds. I’m trying to lose 10 to 15 before the holidays so that if I do gain weight by the end of the holiday’s maybe I’ll be at the same weight I was at before the holidays. My friend and co-worker Carlota had been telling me about some of the best diet pills on the market.

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

Treadmill?

The weather is getting really cold here in Michigan. I really hate winter the snow and the cold. I like to walk for exercise, but when you hate the cold like I do its hard to get out in the cold to go for a walk. I’ve always wanted a treadmill so I think I’m going to start looking for one. Any of you bloggers have a treadmill? Tell me what you think and if you use it or does it just collect dust.

Lazy Sunday

Today the boys and I didn’t do anything but relax. I played on the computer, cleaned a little but mostly just did nothing. I didn’t even get out of my pj’s. I like Sundays like this, so do the boys.

Smokey and Tiger took turns on my lap. Both of them are real lap cats. When one is on my lap the other is just sitting watching for he’s turn to jump up and curl up on my lap. They are so spoiled, but I love them so much.

Siblings

It seams like every weekend is the same, I work all week and when needed, take my mother to the doctors. She goes to the doctors from 2 to 5 times a month it just depends. Then when the weekend comes I have to take care of my house, cleaning, doing my wash, and the shopping for food and cat supplies. Then with my free time I have to do the same for my mother.

Don’t get me wrong I love my mother and I don’t mind helping her. She’s getting old and she’s been sick. The thing is I have two older sisters that don’t help. One lives up north but the other one only lives 10 miles away. Both are married and I’m divorced so I guess that means I have the time to take care of my mother.

New TV for the Boys?

Smokey and Tiger have been asking for a new Plasma TV for Christmas. Guess they seen Daisy and Harley’s and want one too. It would be nice to have one but then I'll have to look at the tv lifts. Guess I’ll have to do alot more blogging to pay for their Christmas prize. I would do anything for my boys.

Halloween Surprise

This was a Halloween I won’t forget for awhile. Around 10:30 my co-worker Carlota and I went for our morning walk. The weather was warm and the sun was out. It must be our Indiana summer, which is great that it came on the weekend.

I don’t know how many of you remember that BLACK Tuesday last September 30. Our department was hit with a big lay off; only 8 of us were left when the dust settled. Well today Halloween there was another layoff, this time it was our boss the man that had just a month ago laid off all our co-workers. Guess what comes around goes around.

Can Smokey Learn?

Smokey has this new thing he likes to do, and that’s drink out of the bathroom faucet. I’ve been thinking about getting new one just to spice up the bathroom. Wish I could find one Smokey could learn to turn on and off by himself.

I’m looking at the Moen brand to see if they carry anything that Smokey could learn to uses. I’ve heard of cats learning to use the toilet so why not the faucet.
